Life can be difficult for many people – especially those in ill health. So in 2015, Matt will be taking on an ‘extreme’ charity challenge to raise funds and awareness for Pets as Therapy.

Pets as Therapy is a pioneering charity that helps 1000’s of people every week by bringing lovable pets to hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools, and more. By giving patients a chance to hold and stroke animals, the charity brings comfort and calm to people’s lives.

In April 2015, Matt will journey on a sled race through one of the world’s most revered landscapes: the Arctic.  Using his dog handling skills, he will steer a trusty husky pack through 250km of Arctic land over six days. He must camp, eat and sleep with his pack, ensuring they all reach their destination safely.
