Running the Budapest Marathon in aid of the Children's Society. As simple as that. 

I have recently joined a team from Warwick Raising and Giving Society who are supporting The Children's Society this year by competing in the Budapest Marathon 2019.

Within our society, there continue to be many children in need of our help.  These children face hardships at home, struggle to fit in at school, can feel unloved, scared; like they simply don't matter. -  an overwhelming and lonely place to be.  They can experience mental health problems, exclusion from school, homelessness and In their search to belong often turn to drugs, become involved in petty crime, and suffer exploitation. 

This has to change and with help from organisations such as The Children's Society, these children can break this vicious circle and have the chance to begin to rebuild their lives, make positive relationships and realize their potential.
