Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, Matt is now on the last stage of his Trans American treck having reached the Atlantic coast at Yorktown. He has had so many memorable experiences along the way...multiple10,000 feet elevations through the Rockies, the Grand Canyon, dodging tornadoes in Kansas, the Ozarks and the Blue Ridge Mountains to name but a few. He has met some incredible people and made many friends. 

He is now heading North towards his final destination ...New York City! Take a look at some of the photos below

Update..Matt is now heading towards the Grand Canyon, having passed through Las Vegas and picking up a little brother in the process. Greg is joining Matt for a couple of weeks, travelling towards the Rockies - via Route 66 - and Denver. Please continue to support him as I just know that he will keep his hairy little 56 year old legs going like the clappers until the bitter end..which will be New York!

Matt is spending the next 3 months cycling from San Francisco to New York. He is 56 years old, extremely intrepid and fulfilling a life-long ambition. He has done many rides to raise money for the RBL over the years, including the length of New Zealand, the East coast of Canada, the mountain ranges of the Pyreneesand the Sierra Nevada to name but a few.

This effort is totally self funded and I am doing this page on his behalf as he wouldn't have the nouse ( or patience ) to set it up himself..cycling through Death Valley is far easier!! It is also a way that Matt can carry on the excellent work that his Father in Law Dave did on behalf of the RBL.
