This April, I have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to travel to The Gambia and stay out there for 7 days all thanks to 'Football for Peace International'. 'F4P' is a project that was set up in 2001, they aim to help bring communities together through sport whilst encouraging positive values like trust, respect, responsibility, inclusion and equity. During my 7 days in The Gambia I will be trained by my peers, whilst coaching young communities through sports like rugby, cricket, netball and of course football. Undoubtedly I will have an amazing time out there, meeting new people along the way and learning from new experiences.
