Having procrastinated on the whole running thing for too long I realised I needed a challenge to keep me motivated. When Plan International invited someone from Real Holidays to enter the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon I realised, having spent many a day at work boring colleagues with my recent running 'achievements', that resistance was futile and took the plunge. 

Real Holidays have long had an association with Plan but, having taken a lot from the developing world personally, I thought this a good opportunity for me to give something back.
