24 hours.
3 mountains.
3 Countries.
25 miles walking.
5500 feet accent.
5500 feet decent.
1000 miles driving.
A stroll in the park? Not exactly! Completing the three peaks in 24 hours is no mean feat (or even feet) by anybody’s standards. However, for a group of Hyder Bristol staff this is the gruelling challenge they are facing, some for the second time.
On the 7th August a minibus will set off for which will be our base for the night before an early start on Saturday morning. The following 24 hours will be spent either clambering up mountain passes or sat in the back of the minibus trying to rest muscles and get some sleep.
This time we will be trying to beat our finish time from 2 years ago of 22 hours and 58 minutes. Our team so far is, Dave Morton, Clare Gillett, , Matt Gamlin, Katie Mason, Nick Westwood, Chris Harvey, Brendon Bowles and our long distance drivers .We will be raising money for three charities (The British Heart Foundation, The Motor Neurone Disease Association and Cancer Research ) and as always would be very grateful of your donations.
