I love my beard. It keeps me warm and hides the fact my head is freakishly small.

But ... I'm shaving it off to raise money for a worthy cause. As an islander, like so many others, I have known so many people who have been supported and looked after by Mountbatten. 

More and more people are going to need this service in the future so it's the least I can do to try and raise a bit of money for the cause by getting rid of this beard and making myself look like a chickpea with eyes. 

I'll be doing this on January 1st, so if you're around in ventnor, please feel free to come along, point and laugh...

Whatever you can afford will go towards helping Mountbatten carry on doing what they do best- looking after people and making a difference to so many islander's lives.
