Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 2016 · 16 July 2016 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

In year 11 (some time ago) I had a go at completing the three peaks of Yorkshire challenge and dropped out after 2 due to lack of faith in my legs. Since then I have been determined to finish the challenge and when I heard my friend's brother was taking part to raise money for Alzheimers and dementia I had to join in. I myself have personally seen the damage dementia can have on a family member and want to help Alzheimers society  in some small way.
