The Edale Mountain Rescue Team (EMRT) is a Registered Charity providing a Search and Rescue Service for the moorland and upland areas of the Peak District National Park. It is staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers and is self funding.

Story

Hello!

Over the course of 2014, I have decided to put myself to the test by running all sorts of races, all in aid of Edale Mountain Rescue Team.

Sunday 6th April (My Birthday!!)

I'll be running 13.1 miles through the streets of Sheffield in the SHEFFIELD HALF MARATHON!

Sunday 7th September

Finishing off the year with the famous GREAT NORTH RUN in Newcastle!

Sunday 19th October

Amsterdam MARATHON

I'm running all of these races in aid of Edale Mountain Rescue Team - the team are a vital service for anyone who enjoy walking and undertaking outdoor activities in the Peak District. The safety of those out on the hill is a lot better with this team behind us!!

Please give generously!

Thank you :-)
