Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
Last year on 14th July I swam for an hour straight to raise money for a charity close to my heart that inspired me the second I became involved in it. I swam 2.7km (108 laps) after nearly three months of training, and overall £390 was raised for the club.
This year I intend to do it all again and hope for even more success in terms of money and awareness raised on 24th August from 12 to 1PM at the St Ives One Leisure. The goal this year is to raise over £500, and on a personal note, swim further than last year. The event will be open for close friends and family to witness.
You should give money to this charity which was established over 30 years ago because both the teachers and the swimmers themselves, who experience both mental and physical disabilities, instantly inspired me and made me want to be a better person. Last year my goal was to raise enough money for a special piece of equipment used by one of the members of the club, and hopefully this year we can raise enough money to buy even more equipment for these truly special children.
Thank you in advance for your time and generous donations.
Matt Page.
