Rach & I are taking on the 50km Ultra-Challenge in the Peak District this summer to raise funds for Central Beacons Mountain Rescue. The team worked tirelessly for 5 days searching for my sister Rachael and her wife Helen after they went missing at the Four Walks Waterfalls. Despite the torrential conditions, the team did not hesitate to get out every day and continue their exceptionally difficult work. We also had the pleasure of meeting Huw and 3 other representatives of the CBMR team at Rachael and Helen's funeral and have been absolutely blown away by their continued support and kindness. We have decided to take on this challenge in the hope of helping in some small way to contribute to the fantastic work they continue to do on a daily basis. We are incredibly grateful for all donations however small, and all funds raised will be going towards new equipment to aid the team on future challenges and rescues in the Central Beacons area.
