The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

I see the amazing work that Shelter does when I'm making Housing Scandal for TV. I can't imagine how hard it is doing what they're doing right now. Add to that the massive dip in their funding during COVID, leading up to their biggest fundraising season in the summer, and I want to do any little thing I can to help out.

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

I really am a terrible drummer. The whole thing will be live on my insta feed 2-4.40 pm Saturday 24th April if I can work out how.

I'm @mattallwright on twitter and insta. Get your tracks lined up!

Rock on!
