The reason for me choosing this charity is because thanks to the knowledge of professional Neurological Professors I was able to make the wise decision to part ways with my career in Professional Ice Hockey after suffering multiple concussions. 

This tough sport was daily knocks and weekly fights which took an impact on my health. It was a tough decision to make and wasn’t one I took lightly. Now looking back it was the best decision I made. I’m now fitter than I have ever been and living a successful life in a new career! This is all thanks to the research that took place at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham after 5 head scans over the last couple of years in my career and countless tests.

Without this critical research, I would not have been able to make an educated decision which ultimately changed my life.
