Riding outdoors became a challenge and a fear as a newly diagnosed Type 1 Diabetic so doing this is pay back for the support I have had from friends, family and the diabetic community and helping me push those fears away.

Type 1 Diabetes won't define me, I will still be able to ride, distance is no object.

This is step 1 of my personal challenges in 2020, next up to ride the Flat 200 in July and the Triple Ascent of Mt Ventoux in a day in September.
