Right so in the 'last minute' tradition that has become my personal signature to anyone who knows me well, I am pleased to not to spoil your expectations.

I have setup this page today in preparation for my entry to The Great Manchester Run (also today), where i'll be looking to complete a 10K distance with a target time under 1hr 15m.

Although this is not a record breaking time, the relatively recent merger of deliveroo and my current account with make for a very difficult challenge.

I have done some training with my best 5K time around 30:02, but I really am going to have to pull something special out of the bag.

 I have decided to do this run for 2 main reasons, the first is that I can no longer see my feet without breathing in (exaggeration but not actually that far off), the second is that this is for 2 very good causes Age UK and Barnardo's.

So please anything that you can give to help me on my quest will be very much appreciated (even if it's just £1 it all makes a difference).
