Story
People think I like running. I really don't. It's awful. Unless there's a football to chase it really doesn't interest me.
But I've wanted to take on a running challenge for sometime and with no other sporting activity for a little while at least now seems to be the perfect time.
Obviously my main desire for this is raise money for a cause close to my heart. Last year I set up UppFutures, a charity that aims to get more children attending school through providing uniforms and other essential equipment.
The children we help live in northern regions of Ghana, where poverty is widespread and many families can't afford basic items like uniform to keep their children in school. The alternative can often be child labour exploitation, meaning they can't attend school and harming both their current and future prospects.
At around £7.50 per uniform, i want to raise enough money to pay for 75 school uniforms at a school in Tamale, Northern Ghana - The Prince and Princess Academy.
My challenge is to run 300KM before my 30th birthday on 4th March. It's cold, I hate running and my legs hurt. But I'm determined to raise some money to help give children less fortunate than me a brighter future. I'm incredibly grateful for your donation.
