FACT
is a new, unique charity aimed specifically at autistic children who require special care, attention and therapy on a daily basis. They want to provide training for the parents and the for the professionals to teach their skills, so children with autism reach their true potential and live life to the full.

My good friend, Paul Lockwood’s daughter Jodie has had support from FACT and it’s inspiring to see the support she receives from there. The work they do is invaluable to aid not only the kids, but also their families.

So, anyhow, after reading about the continued cut backs that support schools such as FACT are having to deal with year on year, I figured on supporting them a little bit by trotting round the leafy suburbs of the great MCR this coming April.

For my part, I have done the training over the last 9 weeks or so accumulating +400
miles along the way as well as being entertained by Storm Doris on one
particular run.  Now all I need to do is
finish the race with the remnants of what dignity I have left intact, which may
prove to be difficult……..

It would be ace if you could donate as much or as little as you can, as it’s for a more than worthy cause.
