Thank you for visiting my page. I am taking part in 10 Y Fan 2022 to raise funds for Holibobs Children's Cancer Charity who are dedicated to providing holidays for children diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia. A holiday or break away for families in these circumstances is essential as it provides time away from the hospital and scary treatment regimes. Time spent as a family in these circumstances becomes crucial, every moment of happiness, every laugh, every smile, every adventure provides strength to cope with what may lie ahead one day at a time. 

This challenge means trying to climb Pen-y-Fan 10 times. That's around 44 miles in total, with 22 of those purely uphill, with 22 miles the nice easy downhill. If making it up and down 10 times, i'll climb the equivalent of from Mount Everest basecamp to the summit. Ouch.

I've not had the best time in training leading up to this event with injury, so i'll be relying mostly on positive mental attitude and a splash of stupidity to get me through this one.

Anything you can donate for this wonderful charity will also go a long way to getting me up and down that mountain.
