Story

Where and how to begin...

On  6 December 2010 Chris 'Bully' Barron was diagonosed with terminal Oesophagus, Liver and Lymph node cancer.  Even though it may sadly not offer any benefit to Chris, he will be taking part in clinical trials to hopefully help those suffering from these life shattering diseses in the future.

One in four people die from cancer each year in the UK so the research that Chris is bravely taking part in could have a huge impact on millions of peoples lives in years to come, but this research costs.

So to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK we are going to take part in the 10k run at Silverstone in Chris' honour, there really isn't a more suitable location for this due to Chris' love of all things car related.  The run takes place on 4th May 2011 at 19:30 and covers two laps of The Bridge Grand Prix Circuit.

All proceeds raised will go to Chris' charity of choice, Cancer Research UK.  Please give what you can and help change the future.

---

It is with a heavy heart that this update is made to let you know that sadly Chris lost his battle against Cancer on 25 April 2011.  Our thoughts and best wishes go to his family and friends.

We hope we do Chris proud.

RIP Chris Barron, it's been both an honour and a privilege to be able to call your our friend.
