We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

THE GLEBE ACADEMY THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE 2014

In 2012 it was the Staffordshire way, 2013 brought us the Everton to Fenton walk, this year we decided to take on the National 3 Peaks Challenge....

Starting on Saturday 12th July we, Matt Armstrong, Matt Hope, Matt Westwood and David Smith will take on the Glebe Academy 2014 Challenge of walking up the 3 highest peaks in the U.K......in 24hrs

Starting with Scotland's 4409ft high Ben Nevis the highest peak in the UK, then driving onto England's highest peak in the lake district, the 3163ft Scafell Pike, then finally onto Wales to the 3560ft Snowdon.

From top to bottom that's a combined height of 22264ft

This is our biggest challenge yet but we know we can complete the challenge...

"the question isn't, who is going to let me?                                                                               its, who's going to stop me?

In November 2011, our inspirational friend, colleague and leader Sam Hurst of Glebe Primary School Fenton Stoke-on-Trent, passed away of this horrible and devastating illness, Sam is deeply missed by all who knew her and we aim to raise as much as possible to help in a small way to assist research, so that one day a cure can be found to stop the suffering and pain that is caused by leukaemia...

Thanks to all the support from family, friends, pupils, staff and parents of Glebe Academy, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent...
