Bath Half Marathon 2005 · 20 March 2005 ·

Each day in the UK five families are told their child has cancer or leukaemia. From that moment on their lives will never be the same again. Most children will survive, some will die, but the scars on every family will remain. CLIC's role is to try and help these children and their families cope and keep life as normal as possible. It offers an all-embracing approach including practical hands-on care, clinical services, financial and emotional support. CLIC has joined together with Sargent Cancer Care for Children to become the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity.

Story

Yes, the rumours are true, on 20th March I will be running 13 miles through bath completely sober. I know most of you are students so haven´t got much cash handy but just a couple of quid will be very gratefully recieved by a very worthwhile charity working with kids and the families of kids who have cancer. Can´t be arsed to write much - hopefully all my morally responsible friends will need no encouragement to make a contribution. And if not I know where you all live. Please, please, please make an effort. Thankyou.
