Story
Did you know that 1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime?
I found this statistic scary to think about. You will be affected by cancer in one way or another - either by facing it yourself or having a loved one do so. My grandmother had breast cancer and I know dozens of families who have lost a family member to the big C.
Therefore, it's important that we support charities like the Wessex Cancer Trust in their efforts. It's likely that one day you will need their support and the only way they can keep providing it is if we help them.
I'm terrified of heights (tingly feet, sweaty hands & nauseous looking down over the edge of a building) and hate flying. BUT because this is such an important cause, I'm going to face that fear with the hope of raising a bit of money in the meantime... by jumping out of a plane.
Diving down 10,000ft in Sandown, here on the Isle of Wight. I had shaky hands pressing that 'sign me up!' button - so here we are! The dive is taking place on Thursday the 6th of August and I'd appreciate your support by donating a few pounds.
With love - Matt
