After being adamant that I wanted to run a marathon before I turned 30, I’ve finally been given a place in the London Marathon this year. I will be running in aid of Orchid, a male cancer charity that specialises in funding vital research into all male cancers, including prostate cancer, which is one of the biggest cancer killers of men in the UK. Unfortunately like so many others this is an illness that has effected some of my immediate family and close friends.

Orchid also funds vital research into rare and currently incurable male cancers such as penile cancer, which sadly my girlfriends uncle died from in 2016. It’s an extremely important and underfunded charity which is close to my heart for so many reasons, so any donations you can give in exchange for me sweating my way around London for 26.2miles with a very dodgy knee would be hugely appreciated.
