This year our Dad (Ben's father in law), Paul, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. This spring and summer he will be undergoing treatment to fight it off, with the help and care of NHS staff. 

Nat, Ben and I are undertaking to run the King's Forest Marathon in West Stow, on 12th October this year to show our solidarity and raise some money to help the institution and staff supporting Dad. None of us have run this distance before (10k is our max) so we are setting out on a gruelling summer training programme to ensure we can do Dad proud on the day. 

We'd be delighted if you're able to support Dad's chosen charity My WiSH by donating to our cause. We will be posting regular updates on our progress via our Facebook page 'Blands v Cancer'. It doesn't matter if you can only spare a few pennies, every one will help inspire us as we clock up the miles.
