Just4Children are fundraising for a life changing operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) which will give Luca the life he deserves.

On 7th September I'll be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in aid of a little boy who needs a life changing operation.

To give you a bit of back story, my friend's twins Luca and Lola were born very premature, and there was a great deal of uncertainty for a good few months. Having recently become a parent myself, I can’t imagine what their family must have gone through.

But here I sit, and Luca and Lola are very much a part of the Johnson family, along with their other son Nova.

Now, here comes the sucker punch…. Luca was unfortunately a bit more poorly than his sister Lola following his premature delivery, and without going into too much detail, needs a life changing operation and aftercare that isn’t available on the NHS and costs £25000 to fund…….

The family are already fundraising wherever and whenever they can, and my walk along the 3 peaks with Luca's dad and some other friends will go a way to help them achieve their goal. Please donate anything you can.
