Child Bereavement UK help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

Story

I'm very excited to be part of my cousin Paul's team taking on the Nightrider - a 100km cycle around the streets of London starting at midnight on Saturday June 7th.

I'm raising money for the frankly incredible charity Child Bereavement UK, who has supported Carolyn, Paul and their family since they lost their beautiful daughter Jessica in a tragic accident just before her second birthday.

I can't really think of more important cause to be raising money for.  Bereavement at any age is life-changing, but when it befalls someone so young, every bit of help is invaluable.

You can see a bit more about the work that CBUK do here -
http://www.childbereavement.org.uk.  Rest assured, that every penny goes to a genuinely incredible cause.

Providing this sort of support requires constant funding, so I'm dusting down the old cycling shorts (they're not really old - I've barely cycled since I was about 12) and cycling for all I'm worth.  So please support me by donating whatever you can and don't laugh too much when I'm unable to walk the day afterwards.

Many thanks,

Matt
