I am running the London Marathon for North Devon Hospice.

To raise money for North Devon Hospice I will be swapping my calculator for running shoes to embark on this challenge to raise money in honour of anyone that has benefited from the excellent kindness and support provided by North Devon Hospice.

North Devon Hospice have been providing care and support to local people affected by a life-limiting illness since 1984. They started with a single Community Nurse, covering the entire North Devon area. They now care for around 3,000 people every year, offering specialist care to patients at home and at the hospice, they also support the whole family throughout these toughest of times. I feel very passionate about this worthy charity and am extremely honoured to be able to run this great race for our fantastic North Devon Hospice.

I had previously put myself forward to run the London Marathon for the North Devon Hospice but then of course the pandemic happened so that put a temporary end to that plan!

Fast forward two years and I am back! I had completed this famous route some 20 years ago in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of a friend, so I hope my stamina remains two decades on!
