This page allows you to donate money to The Back-Up Trust to help them fund the excellent training and activity work that they carry out on behalf of wheelchair bound children and adults.
The event is on the 5th of July and involves myself and a team of awesome people pushing, pulling and lifting Scott Hillier a wheelchair bound accident victim to the top of Mount Snowdon....it is going to be boss!
Scott's Story is below:
'My Name is Scott Hillier. I'm 28yrs old from Bristol and on the 10th March 2007 whilst riding my motocross bike I crashed which resulted in me becoming a T5 incomplete paraplegic. My 1st experience with the Backup Trust was taking part in the Winter Park sit skiing course in March 2010.
Having the opportunity to take part on the course was an amazing experience and one that was a strong turning point in me dealing with my spinal cord injury.
Since taking part in the Winter Park course I have tried many other disabled based sports including water-skiing, basketball and hand-cycling. I now have many friends who i have met through the Backup Trust and really value my friendship and the support network it has given me.
My experiences with the Backup Trust have led to me recently become a group leader in the hope to give back and share my experiences with other people effected by spinal cord injuries. '
Please browse The Back-Up Trust website to review the extensive work that they carry out on behalf of spinal cord injury victims, and make what contribution you can to help them continue with their supportive activities.'
JustGiving donations are safe and secure and sent straight to the charity. Anything you can give would be amazing.
So looking forward to smashing this with Scott and thanks for your contributions.
