Charity football tournament/ Sponsored haircut · 3 October 2021

Since its inception, Kris, his family, Trustees and the rest of the team have been overwhelmed with the support and generosity from all over the UK, particularly in Ayrshire and West of Scotland. Scottish football and the wider sporting community has given its full endorsement to what Kris is trying to achieve, many people have backed the Charity with their time, effort and donations. The foundations have been put down and we now look to keep growing. But we realise that with the ongoing challenges of Covid-19 this is going to be difficult. But we plan to tackle everything head on, expand and offer more services, whether its helping to raise Mental Health awareness and also with increase Partnerships and Relationships with other charities, as well as well as businesses and support groups. With your help and understanding, collectively, we can make it happen.

Story

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just
Giving Page.

I have chosen to raise money for a mental
health charity as I believe it’s an area which is extremely underfunded and in need of support. The Covid-19 pandemic has only highlighted this further. With men’s mental health, it is still the biggest killer of men under 45 within the UK, it needs to be encouraged for men to speak up. I have organised a charity tournament to help raise funds and draw awareness to the issue of mental health.

We are going to be taking part in a charity football
tournament amongst the Next Stores on Sunday 3rd of October at Power league Paisley between 11am-2pm. I am also going to be doing a sponsored haircut in which I will be dying my hair neon pink for two weeks and then after two weeks will be shaving it all off.  The hope is to make some money for the charity so any donations to see this interesting look would be appreciated.

I have also managed to organise some raffle
prizes and there are two separate raffles one for Rangers and one for Celtic.

For the Rangers raffle the prizes include –

  • Two tickets to see Kris Boyd and
friends at the Armadillo on Friday 7th of January 2022
  • 4x tickets for a tour of Ibrox
  • A signed and framed Allan McGregor print
  • A signed and framed James Tavernier
    shirt

For the Celtic raffle the prizes include –

  • Two tickets to The
John Hartson Foundation Sportsman's Lunch on Friday, 26th November.
  • A signed and framed
    print of Scott Brown.

To make it easier if someone wants a ticket to just comment their chosen raffle and a contact number and I will put tickets into the relevant tin.

A strip will cost £2 and all the raffle draw date will be confirmed in due course.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
