Crime Stoppers is a community based program which encourages the public to share information about criminal or suspected criminal activity. The Crime Stoppers program provides an avenue for the community as a whole to assist police to solve crimes and ultimately make our State a safer place. We are a community volunteer organisation that believes the general public can help make a difference in stopping, solving and preventing crime. We are a Not - for Profit organisation with a volunteer Board of Directors. We collect information which may help Police solve a crime. Since it began in NSW in 1989, more than 5,000 people have been arrested with more than 19,000 charges laid against them.
