Virtual 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon · 4 October 2020 ·

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

I am running the 2020 Virtual London Marathon (unofficially!) joining official marathon runners from my running club (https://www.strava.com/clubs/thejoglot) on the 4th October 2020 to complete a full marathon route around Peterborough.

I am hoping to raise around £400 for Thorpe Hall Hospice, run by Sue Ryder, which is based in Peterborough. Sue Ryder as a charity are an inspiration to me because of their dedication to providing the very best care and support to people and families going  through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.

Thank you so much in advance for your help and support!
