Story
Thanks for visiting my Justgiving page! I've signed myself up for an active summer filled with muscle acheing, sweat generating and generally painful challenges to fundraise for NI Children's Hospice.
I'm sure you are all aware of NI Children's Hospice's great work in caring for young people and children with a range of life threatening or life limiting conditions. They provide invaluable support to many individuals, families and communities across the country and I hope that, with your help, by putting my body through short term intense discomfort we can raise some funds to help support this great charity!
Here are the stats for you to judge me on; I will be completing the following challenges-
8km run in Final Leg of the Belfast marathon
City of Lisburn Triathlon (Sprint)- 29/07/2012- 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run.
Tri the Lough Sprint Triathlon(Sprint)- 11/08/2012- 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run.
Lap the Lough Cycle 26/08/2012- 140km cycle around Lough Neagh.
Mourne Triathlon (Olympic distance)- 29/09/2012- 1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run.
This makes a grand total of 251km worth of sweat generating activity! In total I'll be swimming 3km, cycling 220km and running 29km.
Please be as generous as you can and hopefully we can raise as much as possible for the NI Children's Hospice!
Matthew
