The Team comprises 40 unpaid volunteers, and is on call 24/7, 365 days a year in all weathers. It is funded by donations. There is significant on-going training in advanced first aid, mountain and water rescue. Achieved through the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of their employers.

Story

Adrian Walker was an amazing friend and colleague who was
taken from us far too soon. He was a rare talent who was much loved by all who knew him and well-respected by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance.

Adrian will be sorely missed. He was was a cheerful and happy character and we always had a good natter about kids, hols and life in general. Was a pleasure each time I spoke with him. RIP Adrian x
