The Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for patients.

Story

When a newborn baby or child is fighting for their life, they need to get expert medical treatment fast. This is where the Children's Air Ambulance comes in. Every second counts, and their helicopters not only take the children to safety four time faster, they also provide intensive care in the air.

We recently had family members who were lucky enough to be close to medical help when they most needed it.  But we also have had close friends, who due to living in remote areas, were not so fortunate.

This charity receives no government funding and relies totally on donations from the public. Any donation large or small are all fully appreciated.

The Children's Air Ambulance service can only continue with your support - please help us in raising money for this charirty, which will make a huge difference to a child's start in life.

Our Challenge is to hike 55 kms in 3 days through the remote highlands of Iceland and hopefully make it back alive!

Thank you

Matthew & Laure
