London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

It aims to provide information and support to members, and to raise awareness of trigeminal neuralgia amongst medical professions and the general public. Above all, it is there to provide hope and encouragement for patients who can feel isolated and depressed as a result of this excrutiatingly painful condition.

Story

📣 I’m running the 2024 London Marathon 📣

I’m running for the TNA, Trigeminal Neuralgia Association, a charity very close to my heart as TN is something that my dad (aka big Norm) has suffered from for the last 10 years. TN, sadly, is commonly known as the ‘Suicide Disease’ as a lot of people with it commit suicide due to the pain and lack of successful treatment options.

I want to raise money and awareness for the TNA, so that more funding can go towards finding new treatment and providing better support. If you are able to sponsor me I’d be super grateful, link is in my bio, but if not, please do read up on TN! The more noise we create around this disease the more can be done for those suffering!

Ive just started my training programme that the legend @katparnell has kindly written for me and is going to be well needed given my last long distance run was in freshers and I ruptured my Achilles in 2022 😬

Thanks for your support, Matt 🙌🏽
