What started as a fairly tough challenge of London to Paris in 3 days for Teenage Cancer Trust in association with Rachel’s harvest has grown. I've either got brave or gone mad as over the past 2 years whilst COVID postponed the event I've added to the challenge. So 2 years older and slightly heavier than planned, I will be covering 1,000 miles and lots of hills (seriously lots), in 6 rides starting on Easter weekend and finishing in August at Rachels Harvest. Please help me to raise as much money as possible for this great charity. The reason this all started was to support the Clifford family and raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust in association with Rachel's Harvest, a unique event held in August to raise money in memory of Rachel Clifford who died of cancer in January 2016 just weeks after her 18th birthday. The Teenage Cancer Trust supported Rachel and her family during her illness Rachel’s harvest now supports this great charity.
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the seven young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day. Traditionally treated alongside children or elderly patients, young people can feel extremely isolated during treatment. Being treated alongside others their own age can make a huge difference to their whole experience.
