We have arranged a memorial day of cricket at St Fagans CC in Cardiff on Sunday 12th June starting at 12noon in honour of Cardiff City Legend Chris Barker(re-arranged from 5th June due to Wales World Cup Qualifier). Chris also played midweek cricket with the Go Panda Cavaliers team for a decade before his far too early passing in January 2020. He loved being one of the boys and fitted in great, he was a top class batsman and a lively fielder. He was player of the year for us in 2017 averaging over 55 during the season. He was a very modest and likeable character who got on well with everyone. Chris was the ultimate resilient professional footballer playing 620 games and will forever be remembered at Cardiff City winning the supporters player of the year 2004/05. We'd like to raise some money for MIND charity UK in his memory in the hope that anyone needing help for any type of mental issues can be given the support that they need
