After unfortunately having to pull out of the 2024 London Marathon, I am pleased to say that I have been able to defer my place until April 2025.

In December 2022 my Nan, 'Nanny Val' sadly passed away. For the later years of her life she suffered with rheumatoid arthritis. This is something that significantly impacted her and restricted her, but never dampened her spirits and she always remained upbeat about life and this is one of the key reasons that I am representing Versus Arthritis in the London Marathon. My Mum also suffers with osteoarthritis which causes her pain in her back and prevents her at times doing the things she loves such as long walks and spending time gardening. This has now spread into her neck which sometimes restricts the use of her left hand at times.
