Story

This is for a client of mine whose mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Below is Madelines story.

It is estimated that by 2025, over 1 million people will be diagnosed with Dementia.  That in itself is shocking, but when it happens to your family, it’s devastating.  There is currently no known cure.

My mother has recently been diagnosed with mixed dementia.  Following the diagnosis, and speaking to Matthew Wright, Wright Fitness, I wanted to do something to give back to the people who tirelessly work with patients, their families and carers living with this destructive disease.  Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services (ADSS) provide assistance to people living with Dementia and their carers, both at home and day support.

Renegade Gyms have kindly agreed for us to use the gym to flip a tractor tyre for 1 mile.

This equates to 2000 flips of the 150kg tyre.

With the help and support of Matthew and Zac, Marc & Rhys, we are looking hold an event on Saturday 28 May 2022 to raise funds for ADSS.
