In June 2024, I will be travelling to Uganda with a dedicated group of volunteers looking to transform an empty field at a local school into a vibrant playground so children can access a childhood!

    With your generous donation we will be able to create a safe environment for children’s development where they can learn essential skills.

Where will your donations go?

A small donation can go a long way:

£5 – a games board to play in a relaxing environment

£15 – drum set to spark creativity

£30 – allow tyre animals to send children on an imaginative safari

£50 – will provide a seesaw in their new playground

And together we can raise the money for:

£100 – play session to increase parent and child interaction

£1000 – provide an adventure play course for children to run, jump and play

By participating in this initiative, I am not only contributing to a cause I am passionate about, but I am also broadening my own horizons and enriching my life experiences. This unique chance to engage with diverse communities allows me to appreciate the value of education and the importance of creating opportunities for others to thrive.

THE RESULTS –

As a result of playgrounds being built, schools report that:

- 98% report an increase in attendance in school.

- 74% of children gave 'The Playground' as a reason to attend school.

- 83% of teachers reported improvements in children's attention and behaviour in classes.
