Pump Aid works with rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa to deliver improved water and sanitation services. We believe that safe protected water points, adequate sanitation and better hygiene improve health and education outcomes and socio-economic opportunities.

Story

After 4 months, 105 stages and 2273kms (give or take), I have finally finished the epic trek from the north coast of Holland to Nice on the mediterranean coast. The walk has taken me through Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Lorraine valley, the Vosges mountains, the Jura and finally the Alps.

I have been keeping a blog setting out the highs and lows of my trip - its a bit out of date (there's not much internet access in the mountains) but I hope it gives you a sense of my experiences, the wierd and wonderful people I've met and the fun that I've had. You can find my blogs at: www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/theintrepidvoyager/

Now all that remains is to ask everyone I know for money! So if you hear from me in the next few months, you know that I'm only after your cash.

Thanks a lot

Matthew
