On Sunday 7th June, I’ll be running the Swansea Half Marathon — the day after the 10‑year anniversary of losing my mum to cancer.

Cancer remains the leading cause of death in Wales while 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and here in Wales, around 20,000 people are diagnosed each year.

I’m raising money for Cancer Research Wales to support the vital work they do in funding research, improving treatments, and giving hope to families facing cancer across Wales. Every step I run is for my mum, and for a future free of cancer.
