We are the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and we're leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.

Story

The percentage of suicides that are male in the UK is at an all time high and it’s something I feel needs talking about and made more aware. As men we all feel like we can’t talk about things or open up because it’s not what we’re meant to do or we feel it’s not how a man should act..I myself have suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts that led to me losing  some very good people in my life and a gambling addiction that cost me not only my savings but a lot of my friendships..fortunately I got help and I am now happier and healthier than I’ve ever been...doing these 10k runs everyday for 30 days will push me to the limit both mentally and physically but if it gets men talking and knowing that it really is okay not to be okay then I know it will all be worthwhile..thankyou for your support and your time in reading this.
