Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm due to run 10 km on the 29th of May and I have chosen to donate any funds I raise to the Beatson Cancer Charity.
Named after Sir George Beatson, a pioneering surgeon at Glasgow's first cancer hospital, the Beatson is Europe's busiest treatment centre. Providing cancer services for 60% of Scotland's population, the Beatson is Scotland's largest cancer centre and a leader in many areas of cancer research and treatment.
This year, Beatson Cancer Charity and The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre have plans to install a brand new, life-changing MRI scanner to the Radiotherapy Department, and are currently in the process of fundraising.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
*Now that the event has been changed to a 'virtual' run I will be doing the run within Glasgow. I'm thinking that Stobhill Hospital (where I work) to the Beatson is a good option but I might need to check the route and confirm closer to the time.
