On Saturday June 8th, 2013, along with a few mad friends, I will be taking on Tough Mudder. For those who don't know what Tough Mudder is, they bill their events as "probably the toughest event on the Planet" and the event I am taking part in comprises of a 12 mile long obstacle course around the Materley Estate in Winchester.

Now, I can all hear you saying that this doesn't sound like a particularly nice way of spending a Saturday morning (and normally I'd agree with you) but we are going to use this to help support the great work that Macmillan Cancer Support do.

This course is designed by the Special Forces and is set to test all-round strength, stamina, mental grit & camaradie (yes, I know, like I said, we're mad). 'Highights' of the course include:

> Trench Warfare
> Electroshock Therepy
> Boa Constrictor
> Fire Walker
> Underwater Tunnels
> Everest
