Crisis at Christmas Fundraising Page

Mattress Online 2018 Fundraiser · 2 November 2018
Hello - and welcome to our fundraising page!
Here at Mattress Online, we believe that everybody should have a warm, safe bed to sleep in and a home to come back to at the end of each day. This is why this Christmas we are fundraising for Crisis, to provide as many places as we can for vulnerable people over the holiday season.
A place at a Crisis Centre can mean the world to a person who has found themselves homeless and vulnerable. Not only will they receive three hot meals (including Christmas dinner), a bed for the night and a full health check-up, but Crisis also provide resources and ongoing support to help people into housing and off the streets for good!
Nobody should have to sleep rough or spend Christmas alone. Friendly Crisis volunteers are on hand at every centre to lend an ear and a kind smile to those who need it most.
We truly admire the work that Crisis do and their mission to end homelessness in the UK. Rates of rough sleepers in this country are at an all-time high, rising 15% over the last year alone*. With the weather outside turning bitter, our donations and solidarity are needed more than ever.
This year we are aiming to raise £1500 to provide 50 people with a space at a Crisis centre and the chance to escape homelessness for good. Every £28.18 we raise above our target will provide an extra place and prevent somebody from sleeping on the streets this Christmas. It really does make a difference!
We would sincerely appreciate your help to make it happen and make sure that as many people as possible can feel safe, secure and cared for this Christmas.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. We hope you will consider donating and giving somebody the chance to change their future.
Seasons greetings and all the best,
The Mattress Online Team
