Running is a hobby of mine and I have entered several 10km runs and have completed a half marathon; however I have always wanted to run a marathon. This will be a huge challenge as I have never ran further than a half marathon. I plan on training for this event so that I can complete it successfully. 

I am running the marathon on behalf on 'Guide Dogs for the blind'. This charity has been running for 75 years and helps thousands of blind and partially sighted people. The charity helps to rehabilitate people, carries out research and campaigns for their rights. 

I would be grateful for any donations towards this worthy cause and am looking forward to training hard to raise as much money as possible.
