Story
Dear All
I ran my first marathon on Sunday in 3 hours 55 minutes. It was a testing challenge, but I'm very happy to have fulfilled my objective of running it and to have helped the Graham Layton Trust raise funds for free eye care in Pakistan.
If you'd like to hear more about how it went, you can watch my interview with GLT via Facebook: www.facebook.com/Grahamlaytontrust
Thank you all ever so much for your support.
- Matt
GLT has helped 25 million persons suffering from blindness or impaired vision in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and continues to do so. Pakistanis are especially touched, 17 million people have impaired vision, in most cases very curable (80% for blindness).
I am attached to projects improving people’s standard of life in emerging countries. GLT is a well run and effective charity, which transforms lives. I believe it is a cost effective way to make a great difference.
