I am participating in a running event in Cyprus that consists of four different races over four consecutive days. This includes a 6km race on Day 1, an 11km Hill Climb on day 2, a Half Marathon on Day 3 followed by a 10km race to finish the event on Day 4. 

I feel like this will be an extreme challenge for me because, of my lack of fitness but I hope that it will benefit me in the future with undertaking new challenges in life. My reasoning for raising money towards Noah's Place is that from my personal experience and throughout my degree, I understand how important inclusion and equal opportunities are, and feel that Noah's Place can really help make a difference. Living so close to Noah's Place will allow for me, to not only help the charity with funding for new things, but also to help my local community and be able to see the changes firsthand.

The money that I raise will go towards items that are needed in their sensory garden, this garden has been developed to allow adults with learning disabilities time to de-stress by adding visual interest, encouraging the sense of touch and stimulating hearing. There are also farm animals such as pigs, chickens and ducks on the site, in which the individuals can learn about, feed and handle if they would like to. Your sponsorship will help me to raise these much needed funds. 

 A small list of some items that Noah's Place would like to include in their sensory area:

Interactive Sound Post, Willow Tunnel/Dome, Sand, Wood Bark Chippings, Building Equipment, Building Materials, Play Equipment, Lighting, Wind Chimes.

All money raised will go towards these items and anything else that they can purchase with the funds. I will appreciate every donation made and so will the people at Noah's Place.
