Brewing and Brands and Greene King are proud to have supported Macmillan since 2012 and have helped to raise over £10 million. We are fundraising so that Macmillan can help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can and continue to provide physical, financial and emotional support.

Standing just shy of 3,000 feet above sea level, Pen y Fan looms menacingly over the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales. Known as The Fan Dance: the grueling weighted march from top to bottom marks an iconic stage of UK Special Forces selection. Those who complete the 24km trek in under three hours twenty minutes, carrying the customary 27kg weight on their back plus weapon, are inducted into some of the finest fighting military units in the world.

On the Friday 16th September 2022 at 7:30am, we the Human Resource Team of Greene King Brewing and Brands Division, (Minus Weapons and Slightly increased time frame) will embark on this epic feet of endurance in the aim to raise enough money to fully fund a nurse for a year for our charity Macmillan Cancer Support.
